Police have this afternoon charged a 48 year old man with one count of culpable driving following the multiple fatality collision just north of Kerang on Tuesday afternoon.

Christian Scholl from Wangaratta, the truck driver involved in the accident, appeared before a bail justice at the Epworth hospital this afternoon.

He was bailed to appear at the Bendigo Magistrate’s Court on 19 December.

More charges are likely to be laid in due course.
