Victoria Police Library

The Victoria Police Library Service contains a collection of resources that focus on local and international police management, issues and strategies.

Borrowing resources from the Library Services catalogue

To borrow items from the Library Services collection, visit your local public library or educational institution and enquire about their interlibrary loan service. Resources will only be lent through the interlibrary loan service and not directly to the public.

The Library uses the Australian interlibrary resource sharing code when lending material to other libraries. The library aims to deliver items to other libraries in a timely, consistent and flexible manner, in line with the code.

The lending of library material is at the discretion of the Library Service. The library reserves the right to refuse lending of material as detailed in Section 3 of the Australian interlibrary resource sharing code.

Victoria Police employees can contact the Library Service by telephone, in person or email about work or study-related inquiries.

The collection, storage, use and disclosure of personal information by the Library Service will be treated in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2000, the Health Records Act 2001 and the Public Records Act 1973.
