Police have charged two men after the alleged armed robbery of a U.S poker player on 21 January.

Melbourne detectives executed two search warrants last night and arrested the pair.

The 32-year-old Dwayne Johnstone of St Albans and 27-year-old Vhyharn Arumughasamu of Wheeler’s Hill appeared in an out of sessions hearing, charged with one count of armed robbery each .

The pair have been remanded to appear in the Melbourne Magistrate’s Court today.
