A man suffered head and internal injuries in an incident in High Street, Shepparton about 8.20 pm last night.

Police have been told a passenger in a car punched the window of the vehicle he was in breaking it.

The driver pulled up and told him to get out, but after leaving the vehicle the passenger went to the driver’s window and threw punches at the driver.

The driver then tried to driver away, but the attacker hung onto the car.

After the car travelled a short distance, the man fell from the car and was struck by a rear wheel of the car.

The injured man,30, was taken to Goulburn Valley Hospital with serious head injures and internal injuries
