About Victoria Police

The Victoria Police Band was formed in 1891. Today, the band is an integral part of supporting the Victoria Police organisational plan.

Through the medium of music, the bands are a powerful proactive tool for engaging the community and achieving positive contact to all demographics throughout the state. 

As well as working within the community the Police Bands also support police corporate and ceremonial events.
