Car Jacking in Keilor East

Release date: Sat 14 October 2006

Last updated: Sat 14 October 2006

Two women were the victims of a car jacking in Keilor East last night.

The women were parked in Buckley Street, 20 meters east of Centre Court, at about 10 pm when the incident occurred.

Police were informed that a man wearing a balaclava opened the rear passenger door of the women’s vehicle and placed a small silver handgun to the side of the drivers head.

It’s alleged the man threatened the women and told them to get out of the vehicle.

Both women got out of the car, after which the man drove off east along Buckley Street.

Police have been told the silver Holden Barina, which bears number plates RDR091, has distinctive pink seat covers and is missing the front passenger side hub cap.

Anyone who may have been in the area or who believes they may have seen the vehicle are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000
