Police search for missing man Darren

Police are currently searching for and appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Darren.

The 55-year-old was last seen on Forest Road North in Lara on 25 May about 12.20pm.

Darren’s family and police are concerned for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

It is believed Darren may have left home with the intention of going for a bush walk.

His mobile phone is switched off and he has not accessed his bank account.

Uniform officers, with the assistance of Search and Rescue and Air Wing, are currently in the You Yangs conducting a search for Darren.

Police have released a photo of Darren in the hope that someone recognises him.

Darren is described as being Caucasian, with a tall, slim build and fair skin.

He was last seen wearing a black peaked cap, black sunglasses, black t-shirt, black jeans, black runners and in possession of a black backpack.
