Where can I get support?
Victoria Police can ensure you are given the support you need.
The Victorian DHHS Child Protection Service is specifically targeted to those children and young people at risk of harm or where families are unable or unwilling to protect them.
To report concerns about the immediate safety of a child within their family unit, call the Child Protection Crisis Line 13 12 78 (24 hours, 7 days a week, toll free within Victoria)
To contact a child protection office close to you call a local office.
There are 24 Child and Family Information, Referral and Support Teams (Child FIRSTs) across the state. Each Child FIRST provides a central referral point to a range of community-based family services and other supports within each of the Child FIRST catchment areas.
Child FIRST ensures that vulnerable children, young people and their families are linked effectively into relevant services and may be the best way of connecting children, young people and their families to the services they need.
Bravehearts' key purpose is to educate, empower and protect Australian kids from sexual assault.
