Fatal collision in Diamond Creek

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives (MCIU) are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision which occurred in Diamond Creek last night.

Emergency services were called to Shute Street about 10pm after reports of a collision between a 4WD and an electric motorcycle on Monday, 8 December.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 14-year-old boy from Diamond Creek, was treated at the scene but could not be revived.

The driver of the 4WD, a 22-year-old man from Eltham North was interviewed and released pending further enquiries.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision remain ongoing.
