Police and the Country Fire Authority will investigate the cause of a fire that severely damaged a motor vehicle restoration business last night.
Seven CFA units attended the incident at Alster Avenue which is believed to have started shortly before 9.00pm.
The front office and several vehicles in various stages of restoration were damaged by the smoke and heat.
CFA units that attended were unable to ascertain a cause at the time of bringing the fire under control so their fire investigators will examine the scene this morning.
A police guard was posted until the investigators take over today.
