Police have arrested a man after a private coach was allegedly stolen from an address in Melton last night.

The white coach was spotted traveling in the vicinity of High Street in Reservoir about 9.45am this morning.

The alleged driver took the scenic route through Thomastown, along the Ring Road to Tullamarine and Glenroy.

There were no other people aboard the coach during the incident.
