It’s hard not to feel nostalgic when you think of Blue Light. While you can still catch a disco, Blue Light has evolved and expanded its range of programs.
The organisation has teamed up with Melbourne Victory to engage at-risk children in a sports program, “It’s not only about the sport itself, it’s about giving kids some structure, getting involved in their community and just having something else to look forward to,” said Superintendent Therese Fitzgerald. The program will be based at the new $20 million soccer academy in Maribyrnong.
