Merri-bek Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance as they investigate a burglary in Pascoe Vale earlier this year.
A grey Mitsubishi ASX parked on O’hea Street about 5.30am on Sunday, 1 March.
It is believed two male offenders got out of the vehicle and approached a licensed premises on Cumberland Road.
Police were told they jumped the fence then smashed a window and crawled inside.
The pair attempted to remove a cash refund terminal from the wall in the gaming area, but they were unsuccessful and left in the vehicle.
Around an hour later, three offenders returned to the premises with power tools, but were unable to open the cash terminal.
They removed the terminal from the wall, dragged it across the room and put it into the boot of the vehicle.
The men then fled in the grey Mitsubishi.
The cash machine had around $35,000 inside.
Detectives have today released CCTV and images of three men they believe can assist with their enquiries.
The first man is perceived to be Caucasian with dark hair.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black t-shirt with a ‘Morrison Racing’ motif on the back, grey shorts, black gloves, black runners and a white cap with a light blue motif and visor.
The second man is perceived to be Caucasian and of medium build.
He was wearing a face mask, a black and grey long-sleeved top, black tracksuit pants, black gloves and white runners.
The third man is also perceived to be Caucasian and was wearing a blue t-shirt.
The trio all had stockings covering their face.
Detectives are urging anyone who witnessed the incidents, has CCTV or dashcam footage or information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
