Charges following Kewell fatal

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a woman following a fatal collision which occurred in Kewell last year.

Investigators have been told a car was travelling along Henty Highway when it lost control and rolled just after 7am on 31 May 2025.

A 32-year-old man from Warracknabeal, who was a passenger in the car, died at the scene.

The driver, a 39-year-old woman from Sea Lake, was today charged with culpable driving causing death.

She has been bailed to appear at Horsham Magistrates’ Court on 4 May 2026.
