Detective leading senior constable charged

A detective leading senior constable from Eastern Region has been charged following an internal investigation.

The 56-year-old man has been charged with one count of make false report.

The charge relates to an alleged collision on 31 May last year while the officer was off-duty.

He was charged on summons to appear before a magistrates’ court at a later date.
