Knox Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after a carjacking in Wantirna South yesterday afternoon.
A woman was near her vehicle when she was approached by an unknown male at a service station on Burwood Highway just before 3pm.
The 62-year-old was dragged away from her vehicle before the offender fled in the woman’s Toyota RAV4.
The woman sustained minor injuries and declined medical treatment.
The offender remains outstanding and the RAV4 is still unaccounted for.
The investigation remains ongoing.
