Detectives investigate lewd act on bus in Mornington Peninsula

Transit Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after an unknown male performed a lewd act on board a bus in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs last month.

It is understood the male directed sexual activity towards a teenage girl on the 785 bus between Mornington and Frankston about 10.20pm on Thursday 27 August.

The 17-year-old victim was not physically injured.

The male is described as Caucasian, 20-25 years old, approximately 162-168cm tall and has blonde hair with a middle part.

He was wearing black jeans, a black shirt and black Kathmandu puffer jacket with green lining.

Investigators have released images of a male they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
