Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after a bottle was thrown, striking a police officer, at a protest in Melbourne last month.
Investigators have been told the officer was on duty on Bourke Street about 2.15pm on Sunday 31 August.
A beer bottle was thrown by a man in the crowd towards the female officer.
It struck her in the head, causing injuries.
Investigators have released images of two men that they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
