Detectives investigate Werribee deaths

Detectives are continuing their investigation this morning following the discovery of a man and a woman’s body in Werribee yesterday afternoon.

Police were conducting a welfare check at a property on Melton Close just after 3.30pm.

A 31-year-old man and 29-year-old woman were located deceased inside the property.

A postmortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.

Detectives are not looking for anyone else in relation to the deaths and it is believed the parties are known to each other.
