Driver dies following Invergordon collision

A man has died following a two-vehicle collision in Invergordon yesterday.

It is understood a Ford Ranger and a Isuzu D-MAX collided near the intersection of Union and Wunghnu roads about 7.20am on 28 February.

The driver of the Ford, a 20-year-old Katandra West woman, was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Isuzu, a 74-year-old Wunghnu man, was airlifted to hospital with critical injuries where he sadly died.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and will prepare a report for the coroner.
