Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Edmund Staniszewski.
The 70-year-old man is wanted on warrant for beg alms and behave in an indecent manner in public.
Edmund is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 170cm tall, with a shaved head, olive complexion and thin build. He has distinctive tattoos on his face and head.
He is known to frequent the Albert Park and St Kilda areas.
Investigators have released an image of Edmund in the hope that someone may be able to provide information on his current whereabouts.
