Fatal collision in Coburg

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have responded to a fatal collision in Coburg on 6 May.

It is believed a vehicle collided with a motorcyclist near the corner of Elm Grove and Bell Street around 7pm.

The male motorcyclist, who is yet to be identified, has died at the scene.

The driver, a 28-year-old Footscray woman, stopped at the scene and is assisting police.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision remains ongoing.
