Fatal collision in Coburg

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Coburg last night.

It is understood a car and skateboard rider collided at the intersection of Moreland Road and Gordon Street about 7.30pm on Thursday, 15 May.

A 43-year-old Pascoe Vale South man believed to be the skateboard rider died at the scene.

A man believed to be the driver of the vehicle was spoken to by police and has been released pending further enquiries.

The investigation into the cause of the collision remains ongoing.
