Fatal collision in Eganstown

Emergency services have attended a fatal two-car collision in Eganstown this afternoon.

It’s believed two cars have collided on Midland Highway just before midday.

The two occupants of one vehicle, who are yet to be formally identified, have died at the scene.

The sole occupant of the other vehicle has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.

The investigation into the cause of the collision remains ongoing.
