Fatal collision in Endeavour Hills

Police are investigating following a fatal collision in Endeavour Hills this evening.

Emergency services were called to reports of the collision, involving a car and pedestrian, on Heatherton Road near Matthew Flinders Avenue about 7.45pm.

The pedestrian, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.

The female driver of the vehicle was not injured and stopped at the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision remains ongoing and police will prepare a report for the coroner.
