Fatal collision in Everton Upper

Emergency services responded to a two-vehicle collision in Everton Upper this afternoon.

It’s believed the vehicles collided on Beechworth-Wangaratta Road just after 3.30pm.

The yet to be formally identified driver of one vehicle died at the scene.

A female passenger of that car was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The female driver of the other vehicle was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A child, who was a passenger, was taken to hospital as a precaution.

The exact circumstances of the collision are yet to be determined, and investigations are ongoing.
