Fatal collision in Melton South

A child has died following a collision in Melton South this afternoon.

It’s understood a car collided with the boy on Cardigan Close about 5.15pm.

The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.

The circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established and the investigation remains ongoing.
