Fatal collision in Mildura

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a fatal collision in Mildura this morning.

It is understood a silver Holden collided with a truck at the intersection of San Mateo Avenue and Twentieth Street just before 9am.

The female passenger of the Holden was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries where she later died.

The female driver of the Holden was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The male driver of the truck was not injured and stopped at the scene.
