Fatal collision in Mount Richmond

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Mount Richmond this evening.

Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a car and a truck on Portland-Nelson Road just before 5pm.

The driver of the vehicle, a 32-year-old Mount Gambier man, died at the scene.

The driver of the truck, a 50-year-old South Australian man, was not injured.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
