Fatal collision in Parwan

A man has died following a collision in Parwan this morning.

Police were told a utility travelling west on Ballan Road collided with a truck driving in the opposite direction about 6.25am.

The driver of the ute and sole occupant died at the scene.

They are yet to be formerly identified.

The truck driver was uninjured.

Police urge drivers to avoid the area due to full road closures on Ballan Road, near Bacchus Marsh Geelong Road.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
