Fatal collision in Sherbrooke

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Sherbrooke this morning.

Emergency services were called to Sherbrooke Road, between Mount Dandenong Tourist Road and Nobles Lane, to reports a vehicle had veered off the road and crashed into a tree about 7.33am.

The yet-to-be formally identified driver of the vehicle died at the scene.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are being investigated.
