Fatal collision in Truganina

Westgate Highway Patrol officers are investigating a fatal collision in Truganina this evening.

It is understood a motorcycle, and a car collided at the intersection of Leakes Road and Kwila Drive, just before 8.30pm.

Emergency services worked on the rider, a 31-year-old Werribee man, but he died at the scene.

The driver of the car, a 33-year-old Tarneit man, stopped at the scene and was not injured.

Officers are working to establish the exact circumstances of the collision.
