Fatal collision in Wantirna

Police are investigating a fatal collision in Wantirna this morning.

It is understood a motorcycle and car collided on Mountain Highway about 6am on 7 July.

The motorcyclist, a 32-year-old Croydon man, died at the scene.

The driver of the car, a 30-year-old Heathmont woman, stopped at the scene and was uninjured.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision remains ongoing.
