Fatal collision in Woori Yallock

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Woori Yallock this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to reports a car had struck a motorcyclist on Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road just after 2.30pm.

CPR was performed, however, the yet-to-be formally identified rider died at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured and is assisting police with their enquiries.

His passengers, a woman and two children, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are being investigated.

Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road remains closed in both directions.
