Fatal collision in Wyndham Vale

Westgate Highway Patrol officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Wyndham Vale this afternoon.

Emergency services responded after a motorcycle and car collided at the intersection of Greens and Armstrong roads about 3.30pm.

The yet-to-be-identified male rider died at the scene.

The driver of the car was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

An investigation into the circumstances of the collision is underway.
