Fatal crash in Eskdale

Police are investigating a fatal crash in Eskdale this evening.

It is understood a motorcyclist was travelling along the Omeo Highway when they lost control and went down a nearby embankment just before 5pm.

The yet-to-be formally identified rider died at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be established and the investigation remains ongoing.
