Fatal crash in Maroona

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal truck crash in Maroona.

Emergency services were called to Mortlake-Ararat Road about 7.50pm after reports a truck had left the road and crashed.

Crews attempted to treat the 74-year-old Campbells Forest man at the scene, but he could not be revived.

Investigations are ongoing into the circumstances of the crash.
