Fatal crash in Mulgrave

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash which occurred in Mulgrave this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Police Road, Mulgrave about 3.40pm on 4 March after reports a car had left the road and crashed into a tree.

Crews attended to the female driver but she could not be revived.

A child travelling in the rear of the car was uninjured.

Investigations are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
