Brimbank Highway Patrol officers are investigating a fatal crash in St Albans this morning.
It is believed a car was travelling on Taylors Rd when it lost control and crashed into a wall at the intersection with East Esplanade just before 8am.
The driver and sole occupant, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
An investigation into the exact circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing.
