Fatal crash in Wedderburn

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in Wedderburn overnight.

It is understood a car crashed into a tree on Wedderburn-Boort Road, near Corbys Lane, then rolled and caught fire.

The vehicle was located by a passer-by just after 11pm.

The male driver, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
