Fatal crash in Wellsford

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in Wellsford this afternoon.

It is believed the red Toyota Yaris sedan was travelling along the Huntly-Fosterville Road when the vehicle lost control and crashed into a tree about 1.45pm.

The yet-to-be-identified male driver and sole occupant died at the scene.

Investigations are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
