Homicide Squad investigate Dandenong death

Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Dandenong this morning.

Emergency services were called to reports of a man found with stab wounds on Potter Street about 4.50am.

Paramedics treated the 39-year-old man however he died at the scene.

At this early stage, it appears that the incident may have occurred at a nearby residence on Potter Street, before the man fled the address on foot.

The exact circumstances surrounding the man’s death are yet to be established and the investigation remains ongoing.
