Homicide Squad investigate death in Jung

Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in Jung this morning.

Emergency services were called to reports of a man’s body located on the eastern side off the Henty Highway near Finlayson Road about 9.15am.

The man is yet to be formally identified at this stage but appears to be approximately 60-years-old.

The cause of death is yet to be determined but is being treated as suspicious at this stage.

Investigations are ongoing and a crime scene is in place.
