Police are currently at a property in Silverleaves after what is believed to be human remains were discovered this morning.
It’s understood plumbing works were being conducted at the Hazelwood Court address when workmen unearthed the bones about 8.35am on 15 January.
A crime scene has been established and detectives from the Homicide Squad have been deployed to the scene.
The Missing Persons Squad has also been notified.
The bones will undergo forensic testing and at this stage, the circumstances surrounding the death of the person are yet to be determined.
This includes whether the matter is suspicious.
