Investigation continues into fatal crash in Puckapunyal

Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash in Puckapunyal on Friday afternoon.

It is understood a car crashed into a tree off Seymour-Tooborac Road on 7 November about 3.55pm.

The driver, a 45-year-old Junortoun woman, died at the scene.

Two children who were passengers of the vehicle, were airlifted to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash remains ongoing.

Investigators have identified the driver of a B-double truck in the area at the time of the crash and he is assisting with enquiries.
