Man arrested after cash and drugs located in stolen car

Police have arrested a man after he was found in an allegedly stolen car with cash and drugs in South Yarra this morning.

Officers spotted the white Holden Commodore on Chapel Street about 3.45am.

The male driver fled the scene on foot and was arrested nearby.

Police searched the vehicle and located cash, Methamphetamine, GBH, knuckle dusters and a baton.

The 35-year-old St Kilda man was taken into custody where he will be interviewed.

The Holden Commodore was stolen from Narre Warren on 6 May 2025.
