Man arrested following Prahran stabbing

Police have arrested a man following an alleged stabbing in Prahran last night.

A man was allegedly stabbed following an altercation on Commercial Road about 10pm.

He was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries and is now in a stable condition.

Another man was arrested nearby and taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The 25-year-old man was then taken into custody to be interviewed by detectives.

The two men are believed to be known to each other.

Investigations are ongoing into the circumstances of the incident.
