Man charged following death of woman in Clyde North

Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the death of a woman in Clyde North last night.

Emergency services were called to the Generation Drive scene after reports a woman had been seriously injured about 6.30pm.

The 29-year-old woman, who was found critically injured in a home, was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries where she later died.

Attending police arrested a 32-year-old man at the property.

He has been charged with one count of murder.

Police believe the man and woman are known to one another.

The Clyde North man will appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today, Monday 27 July.
