Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a collision that occurred in Kaarimba last month.
It’s alleged a Toyota Corolla collided head-on with a Renault SUV on Barmah-Shepparton Road on Thursday 2 October just after 4.30pm.
The driver and sole occupant of the Renault, a 45-year-old Nathalia woman, died at the scene.
The driver and sole occupant of the Toyota, a 30-year-old Nathalia man was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
Detectives charged the Nathalia man with culpable driving causing death this morning.
He will appear before the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
