Man dies after tree strikes car in Mount Buller

Emergency services responded to a single vehicle incident today in Mount Buller that has left one person deceased.

It’s believed a vehicle was travelling along Mount Buller Road when a tree has fallen into the car about 9.15am.

The male passenger who is yet to be formally identified, sadly died at the scene.

The female driver was conveyed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are continuing to establish the circumstances and an investigation is ongoing.
